Zinc Plated are for those of you who need serious protection from the elements (and they look ultra trick!), and the no-paint version is for those of you who want to save some money and paint them yourself. | JM400....1987-1995 Jeep® YJ Wrangler Converting to Chevy V-8 (small or big block) engines. The factory motor mounts must be removed from the frame to install these mounts. They are indexed to factory holes in the frame so line-up is a breeze. These mounts must be welded to the frame, so they come bare steel, no paint. They are set-up to offset the engine to the passenger side 1 inch, so a T-case with a drivers side front drive shaft must be installed (231 or 241).

This mount is IDEAL for XJ Cherokee owners where the unitized body is known for transmitting vibration from the engine (with polyurethane style motor mounts).
