Now that rock crawling has become the favorite past time for Jeepers, and we are putting our Jeeps in places that they were never designed to go, the stresses on the stock motor mounts are tremendous. With deep gearing, big tires, lockers, and mega torque, the stock mounts can be torn apart in no time at all. That is where these BombProof Motor Mounts come into play. These are the ultimate motor mounts that you can install in your Jeep® vehicle. They will create a crossmember with the engine, improve clutch linkage operation and beef up your Jeep® for serious wheelin'. They bolt into stock holes in the frame* and engine. In most applications, no modifications are needed.

Zinc Plated are for those of you who need serious protection from the elements (and they look ultra trick!), and the no-paint version is for those of you who want to save some money and paint them yourself. Black polyurethane bushings insulate from steel to steel contact.

We do have the newest style BombProof Motor Mounts with "Torsion" Rubber bushings available for the Jeep® XJ Cherokee, YJ and TJ, which absorbs vibration far better then polyurethane.

JM100....1972-1986 Jeep®
CJ-5, CJ-7, CJ-8 with AMC 6 CYL.
Engines. (4.0L or 4.2L). Mounts the engine in stock location. Factory block plates must be retained on a 4.2 and acquired for a 4.0 swap. 72-75 CJ-5 requires slight drilling to install. The block side has slots for minor adjustment. Bare steel no paint.

JM200....1972-1986 Jeep®
CJ-5, CJ-7, CJ-8 with Chevy V-8 . Small or big block.
These mounts are designed to bolt in place and locate the engine in the proper location, however in some vehicles, welding may be required. JM200 mounts come bare steel, un painted. They will off-set the engine slightly to the drivers side so a transfer case with a passenger side front drive shaft must be installed (Dana 20, 300 etc).

JM400....1987-1995 Jeep® YJ Wrangler Converting to Chevy V-8 (small or big block) engines. The factory motor mounts must be removed from the frame to install these mounts. They are indexed to factory holes in the frame so line-up is a breeze. These mounts must be welded to the frame, so they come bare steel, no paint. They are set-up to offset the engine to the passenger side 1 inch, so a T-case with a drivers side front drive shaft must be installed (231 or 241).

JM500....1976-1986 Jeep®
CJ-5, CJ-7, CJ-8 with Ford V-8

For the Jeeper who wants to install a Ford small block (289, 302, 351) into a 1976-1986 CJ chassis. These mounts bolt to stock holes in the frame, and install the engine in the proper location for you. No messing with where it goes! We have done all of the guess work for you. It will offset the engine slightly to the drivers side (as the factory drive train is), so you must use a transfer case with a passenger side front drive shaft (Dana 20, 300 etc.). JM600....1987-2001 Jeep® XJ Cherokee 4.0L, 1987-2005 Wrangler (YJ* and TJ).

This mount is IDEAL for XJ Cherokee owners where the unitized body is known for transmitting vibration from the engine (with polyurethane style motor mounts). This "Torsion" Rubber style mount will clamp the engine in place far better then the stock junk mounts do, however, they will not transmit vibration like polyurethane mounts do! $129.50/pair

JM600L....1987-2005 Jeep® Wrangler YJ* & TJ Wrangler, 4.0L or 4.2L engines, With a One Inch Body Lift Kit installed. These mounts are the same as our new "Torsion" rubber BombProof"mounts, except that they are designed to "Lift" the engine one inch. These mounts work great for the TJ owner who wants to help correct the rear drive shaft angle, by leaving the stock crossmember in the stock location. They also work with the TeraFlex BellyUp crossmember. $129.50/pair

M.O.R.E. Has a new BombProof style Motor Mount for the V-8 enthusiast. These mounts allow the use of a Generation III Chevy V-8 engine into a 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler. Also unique to these mounts is the two height options with a 1" difference between the two. These mounts will require the removal of the original frame mounts, frame modifications for A/C & minor firewall trimming. Your Jeep Wrangler should also have at least a 1" body lift and a minimum of a 4" suspension lift. Welding Required !

Sometimes this will also damage the block ( Threaded Bosses ) . We have come up with a replacement bracket that will bolt on using 7-8 existing threaded holes on the side of the block.
